In the last month of the year 2018, the 15th MEGHPEDICON and the 5th IAP Meghalaya Oration was organised. The oration was delivered by Prof Dr Arun Singh, a highly accomplished neonatologist and National Advisor, RBSK. He delivered the best oration till date in the history of IAP MSB. He spoke at length about the first 1000 days in the life of a newborn. For 2 hours the audience was enraptured by his talk and he gave a totally different outlook about the neonatal care in our country. We conducted vaccine symposium and Saath- Saath perinatal meet with Shillong Obstetrics & Gynecological Society as part of the IAP action plan during the MEGHPEDICON.
