IAP Action Plan 2016

This daylong workshop was conducted on the 22nd of October. Faculty included eminent developmental experts, Dr. Papiya Khawash, Dr. Monidipa Banerjee and Dr. Santanu Deb. A wide range of topics were covered including Developmentally supportive care in NICU, Normal Development and Red flag signs & Development assessment. Workstations demonstrating Motor stimulation, Tone assessment and fine motor skills were also set up. There was also special sessions on autism and how to set up a Child Development Centre. There were over 50 participants that included doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, counsellors and special educators. All in all, it was a day well spent and indeed a wonderful learning experience for everyone.
