As usual the last week of July was celebrated as ORS week throughout the state with full enthusiasm. For the first time we had maximum participation from 12 hospitals, 2 CHCs and one urban community group for this activity. ORS awareness talk based on the theme “ORS ORS all the day, keeps dehydration at bay” were conducted by our various members in their respective
hospitals. Pamphlets were distributed. Every hospital had put up an ORS Corner. ORS theme based skit was arranged at Nazareth Hospital and Seventh Day Adventist School at Tura. Poster competition for Nursing Students was conducted at Ganesh Das Maternal and Child Hospital.
Essay Competition amongst nursing students was conducted at Nazareth Hospital. In the same month, IAP Undergraduate quiz was conducted at NEIGRIHMS and 4 teams participated.
Winners of the quiz represented at the zonal level.
