The celebrations were kickstarted by Woodland hospital with a health talk, home remedies, diet, hand washing and a demonstration of ORS preparation among parents of patients on 28th July 2016.

               Then on the 30th of July there was the customary annual 6th inter-institute nursing quiz among all the nursing institutes of shillong. The venue of the quiz this time around was NEIGRIHMS. The winners of this year’s quiz was the school of nursing Theresa Training Centre, Ganesh Das Hospital.

              There was a demonstration of ORS preparation and health talk also at Children's hospital, Ganesh Das Hospital and Nazareth hospital. Our members also did health talks and demonstrations at Holy cross hospital Mairang, Bhoi Rynbong CHC, Bethany Hospital Nongpoh and Nongpoh Civil hospital .
